Why Need to Clear Your Browser Cache?

If you are thinking about why you should clear browser cache and other things, then we must say that normally there is no real reason for you to clear your browser cache, cookies, and history. I mean, if you don’t clean these things, your PC should run just fine without affecting your browsing experience.

But sometimes things may go wrong. Here are some common reasons why you need to clean your browser cache, cookies, and history:

  1. Fixing Problems: A website may have some problems. As your PC keeps a copy of the code in the cache, you may face the same problem even after the website authority has fixed the problem. Or maybe you have made some recent changes to your website, but you can‘t see the changes you have made. This may happen because the browser is still using the cached version or the cache may have been corrupted.

In such cases clearing your browser cache and cookies may easily solve the problem as you can try everything fresh again.

  1. Enhancing Privacy: You may have browsed something that you don’t want anyone to know about. Everyone does. Maybe you searched for a birthday surprise and you don’t want the next user to see it. It happens a lot of times that we have to give our device to someone else. Now you never know who is trying to play spy with you. So it’s better to play safe. Especially if you have used a public or library computer.

Clearing your history, cache, and cookies will enhance your privacy. But just to mention, clearing these things does not give you one hundred percent privacy as anyone responsible for proving your internet connection such as your ISP (Internet Service Provider) can find what you are looking at. You can try using a VPN for more privacy.
